Baggage

Your hand (carry on) and checked baggage allowance is determined by the airline operating the flight.

The policy for suitcase sizes for cabin luggage and checked bags always depends on the airline that operates your flight - usually one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 6kg and dimensions that do not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm and checked baggage with a maximum weight of 20kg.

Hand baggage:

Liquids carried in the aircraft cabin must be carried in a transparent plastic bag - maximum capacity 1 litre - and no container may hold more than 100 ml. Liquid containers larger than 100 ml must be placed in checked baggage.

At the airport:

  • Place any liquid items (important: see Liquids above), correctly bagged, into the tray
  • Place your hand baggage and coat into a tray
  • Place laptops and large electrical items separately in a tray

Prohibited hand baggage items:

  • Sharp items
  • Stunning devices and incapacitating devices
  • Tools
  • Projectile-firing weapons
  • Blunt instruments
  • Explosive or incendiary substances
  • Dangerous goods

Permitted liquids:

  • Baby food or baby milk
  • Liquid medicines: Please take along the prescription
  • Duty Free liquids: Liquids presented in an official sealed security bag provided they remain in the sealed security bag with the receipt provided at purchase
